I have had heart failure since the late 80's
My first major crisis was in 2016. After nearly 30 years with heart failure I woke in ICU following a cardiac arrest and a coma. I had been ill with what appeared to be repeated cold like viruses and was diagnosed on arrival in hospital with multiple organ failure. No-one has been able to answer questions I have had about why I became ill so quickly and no treatment has been started.
I waiting for an appointment for a cardiologist to arrive but I won't be holding my breath as it will be 3 years since my diagnosis next month
Travels of an addled brain to somewhere near normality whatever that might be when it's at home.

Eighteen Stone and Rising
I was 16st when I quit smoking last year on the 18th December and I weighed myself this morning and I had gained 2 stone ...EEEEK!
I have swapped tobacco for a Medipen that looks like this and am feeling a lot better for sleeping through the night. Thankfully, Billy has been buying my CBD oil cartridges otherwise I would have to get a third job to pay for them

Echo Scan March 4th (Monday) 2019
Posting to say that I still haven't got to see a cardiologist since my cardiac arrest in March 2016 and a diagnosis of heart failure the same month which I have been complaining about since the mid 90's.
On March the 4th I will see a GP following the scan so still no sign of seeing a cardiologist.
